Summary: My MacBook Pro becomes unresponsive for a minute or two at a time. Typing on the keyboard has no effect; indeed, not even the caps lock light changes when I press the caps lock key. Using the trackback has absolutely no effect either; the mouse doesn't move at all. The display is unaffected, however; I still see the windows of my open applications. Eventually, within a minute or two, the machine becomes responsive again. This happens randomly, maybe a few times a week. Steps to Reproduce: Happens randomly, cannot reliably reproduce. Expected Results: N/A Actual Results: N/A Regression: I've noticed this happening a number of times over the past few weeks at least. I don't recall the problem happening prior to recently. 14-Nov-2008 11:28 PM Jeff Johnson: It just froze again for a couple minutes. There's nothing in the logs to indicate why. 26-Nov-2008 06:42 PM Jeff Johnson: It happened again just now, though it was pretty brief this time, lasting less than a minute. It tends to happen after I unplug my laptop from the MagSafe and carry it over to the couch and sit down. 18-Dec-2008 08:29 PM Jeff Johnson: It just happened again, lasted around 2 minutes.
